What is "Mastering the Mysteries
of Love" (MML)?
The Mastering the Mysteries of
Love (MML) Program is a 21st
Century format of the
research-validated Relationship
Enhancement Program by Dr.
Bernard Guerney, Jr. The
skills-based program works with
couples at all stages - engaged,
happily married, or in troubled
marriages. The program uses a
multi-media teaching approach
including a couple's workbook,
video clips, PowerPoint
slideshows and other teaching
aids. It is being successfully
used around the country in the
growing field of marriage
education by therapists in
agency settings as well as by
trained volunteers in churches
and community settings. It is
conducted in a variety of
formats and schedules: weekly
two-hour classes, full-day
workshops, or a combination of
one-full day workshop and four
two-hour evening sessions.
Professional counselors and
therapists also use the
curriculum in couples'
counseling to provide new hope
for troubled marriages.
